नेयमस्ति पुरी लङ्का न यूयं न च रावणः ।
यस्मादिक्ष्वाकुनाथेन बद्धं वैरं महात्मना ।
।
॥५-४३-२४॥
Neyamasti purī Laṅkā na yūyaṃ na ca Rāvaṇaḥ . Yasmādikṣvākunāthena baddhaṃ vairaṃ mahātmanā .. ॥5-43-24॥
Translation
Neither this city of Lanka, nor you all, nor even Ravana will continue to exist, because you have established enmity with the Great Soul, the Lord of the Ikshvakus.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अब न यह लंकापुरी रहेगी, न तुम लोग रहोगे और न ही रावण रहेगा; क्योंकि तुम लोगों ने इक्ष्वाकुवंश के स्वामी महात्मा श्रीराम से वैर मोल लिया है।
English Commentary
This verse delivers the ultimate verdict. Hanuman connects the impending existential negation of Lanka to a single moral cause: enmity with Rama. By using the title Ikṣvākunāthena (Lord of the Ikshvakus), he invokes the lineage of righteous warrior-kings known for upholding Dharma. The structure of the verse is absolute—'Neither Lanka, nor you, nor Ravana.' It is a declaration that their doom is already sealed not just by military might, but by the cosmic law of Dharma. Opposing a Mahātmā (Great Soul) like Rama renders all material fortifications and individual prowess futile. It is a powerful closure to his warning before the physical conflict escalates further.

यह सर्ग का अंतिम और सबसे प्रभावशाली श्लोक है, जो पूर्ण विनाश की भविष्यवाणी करता है। हनुमान जी यहाँ कारण और कार्य (Cause and Effect) का सिद्धांत स्थापित करते हैं। कारण है—'इक्ष्वाकुनाथेन बद्धं वैरं' (इक्ष्वाकु नंदन राम से वैर) और कार्य है—लंका, राक्षस गण और रावण का अस्तित्व समाप्त होना। यहाँ 'महात्मना' विशेषण श्रीराम के नैतिक और आध्यात्मिक बल को दर्शाता है, जिससे टकराकर अधर्म का नाश निश्चित है। हनुमान जी यह स्पष्ट करते हैं कि लंका का वैभव और रावण का तप व्यर्थ है यदि वह धर्म के विग्रह श्रीराम के विरुद्ध है। यह एक अंतिम चेतावनी है कि विनाश अब अपरिहार्य है।
