चुकोप बाणाभिहतो राक्षसस्य महाकपिः ।

Cukopa bāṇābhihato rākṣasasya mahākapiḥ .. ॥5-44-10॥
Translation
Struck by the arrows, the great monkey Hanuman became furious with the Rakshasa.
हिंदी अनुवाद
बाणों से घायल होने पर महाकपि हनुमान उस राक्षस (जम्बुमाली) पर अत्यन्त कुपित हुए।
English Commentary
This concise line serves as a pivot in the narrative. The poetic admiration of Hanuman's resilience shifts abruptly to action. The trigger is bāṇābhihato (being struck by arrows), which ignites Hanuman's fury (cukopa). This marks the end of his passive endurance.
