अतिवेगो ऽतिवेगेन भ्रामयित्वा बलोत्कटः ।
परिघं पातयामास जम्बुमालेर्महोरसि ।

Ativego 'tivegena bhrāmayitvā balotkaṭaḥ . Parighaṃ pātayāmāsa Jambumālermahorasi .. ॥5-44-16॥
Translation
The extremely swift Hanuman, overflowing with strength, spun the iron club with excessive speed and brought it down upon Jambumali's broad chest.

अत्यंत वेगवान और उत्कट बल वाले हनुमान ने बहुत जोर से घुमाकर उस परिघ को जम्बुमाली की विशाल छाती पर दे मारा।
English Commentary
This is the climax of the duel. Hanuman summons all his attributes—ativega (super speed) and balotkaṭaḥ (excessive strength). By spinning the iron club with "excessive speed," he generates an unstoppable kinetic force. He targets the center of mass—Jambumali's "broad chest" (mahorasi). The verse conveys the sheer weight and finality of the blow. Unlike the arrows which pierced, this blunt-force trauma is intended to crush and obliterate the opponent instantly.

यह संघर्ष का अंतिम प्रहार है। हनुमान जी के लिए 'अतिवेगो' (अत्यंत वेगवान) और 'बलोत्कटः' (प्रचंड बल वाले) विशेषण प्रयुक्त हुए हैं। उन्होंने अपनी पूरी शक्ति और गति को उस 'परिघ' में केंद्रित कर दिया। 'अतिवेगेन भ्रामयित्वा' (अत्यंत वेग से घुमाकर) का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने उस भारी लोहे की छड़ को इतना संवेग (momentum) दिया कि उसका प्रभाव विनाशकारी हो। लक्ष्य था जम्बुमाली की 'महोरसि' (विशाल छाती)। यह प्रहार रक्षा या चेतावनी के लिए नहीं, बल्कि प्राण लेने के लिए था।
