तस्य चैव शिरो नास्ति न बाहू न च जानुनी ।
न धनुर्न रथो नाश्वास्तत्रादृश्यन्त नेषवः ।
।
॥५-४४-१७॥
Tasya caiva śiro nāsti na bāhū na ca jānunī . Na dhanurna ratho nāśvāstatrādṛśyanta neṣavaḥ .. ॥5-44-17॥
Translation
(Due to that blow) his head was gone, his arms were gone, and his knees were gone. No bow, no chariot, no horses, and no arrows were to be seen there.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(उस प्रहार से) न उसका सिर रहा, न भुजाएं रहीं, न घुटने रहे। न धनुष, न रथ, न घोड़े और न ही बाण वहां दिखाई पड़े। (सब कुछ चूर्ण हो गया)।
English Commentary
This verse describes total annihilation through negation. Instead of listing injuries, the poet lists what no longer exists: head, arms, knees, bow, chariot, horses, arrows. The phrase na asti (is not there) and na adṛśyanta (were not seen) implies that the impact of the Parigha was so catastrophic that it didn't just kill Jambumali; it disintegrated him and his equipment into dust. It is a terrifying image of raw power where a fully armed warrior and his vehicle are erased from existence in a single blow.

यह श्लोक हनुमान जी के प्रहार की भयंकर संहारक शक्ति का वर्णन करता है। कवि यह नहीं कहते कि जम्बुमाली मर गया, बल्कि वे 'नेति-नेति' (यह भी नहीं, वह भी नहीं) शैली में बताते हैं कि वहां अब कुछ भी शेष नहीं है। सिर, भुजाएं, घुटने, रथ, घोड़े—सब कुछ उस एक प्रहार से इतना चकनाचूर हो गया कि वे 'अदृश्य' हो गए। यह शरीर और रथ का पूर्ण विखंडन (total pulverization) है। यह अतिशयोक्ति उस परिघ के प्रहार की भीषणता को अनुभव कराने के लिए है।
