स हतस्तरसा तेन जम्बुमाली महाबलः ।
पपात निहतो भूमौ चूर्णिताङ्गविभूषणः ।

Sa hatastarasā tena Jambumālī mahābalaḥ . Papāta nihato bhūmau cūrṇitāṅgavibhūṣaṇaḥ .. ॥5-44-18॥
Translation
Struck violently by him, the mighty Jambumali fell dead on the ground, his limbs and ornaments crushed to powder.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हनुमान द्वारा वेगपूर्वक मारे जाने पर, वह महाबली जम्बुमाली पृथ्वी पर गिर पड़ा। उसके अंग और आभूषण चूर्ण-चूर्ण हो गए थे।
English Commentary
The duel formally concludes with the fall of the champion. The descriptor cūrṇitāṅgavibhūṣaṇaḥ (limbs and ornaments crushed/pulverized) reiterates the devastation mentioned in the previous verse. The mighty Jambumali, once resplendent in red garlands and gold earrings, is now a crushed mass on the ground. This visual contrast between his majestic entry and his pulverized exit serves as a grim reminder of the transience of power when faced with superior strength.

युद्ध का समापन इस दृश्य के साथ होता है। 'चूर्णिताङ्गविभूषणः' शब्द अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है—अंग और आभूषण दोनों चूर्ण (powdered) हो गए हैं। जो आभूषण और लाल वस्त्र श्लोक २ में उसकी शोभा बढ़ा रहे थे, अब वे उसकी मृत्यु के मलबे में मिल गए हैं। 'महाबलः' विशेषण का अंत में पुनः प्रयोग यह याद दिलाने के लिए है कि मरने वाला कोई साधारण सैनिक नहीं था, बल्कि एक महान योद्धा था, जिसे हनुमान जी ने अपने बाहुबल से नष्ट कर दिया।
