स कृत्वा निनदं घोरं त्रासयंस्तां महाचमूम् ।
चकार हनुमान् वेगं तेषु रक्षस्सु वीर्यवान् ।

Sa kṛtvā ninadaṃ ghoraṃ trāsayaṃstāṃ mahācamūm . Cakāra Hanumān vegaṃ teṣu rakṣassu vīryavān .. ॥5-45-11॥
Translation
Making a terrible roar and frightening that great army, the valiant Hanuman directed his speed (attack) towards those Rakshasas.

उस वीर्यवान हनुमान ने घोर गर्जना करके उस विशाल सेना को भयभीत कर दिया और उन राक्षसों पर वेगपूर्वक आक्रमण किया।
English Commentary
Hanuman transitions from defensive maneuvering to offensive action. First, he deploys a sonic weapon—a ninadaṃ ghoraṃ (terrible roar)—to instill terror (trāsayan) in the supporting army (mahācamūm). Breaking the enemy's morale is the prelude to physical destruction. Then, the vīryavān (valiant one) directs his vega (speed/momentum) specifically at the seven commanders. This signifies the shift from dodging arrows to delivering the killing blow. The predator has stopped playing and is now diving for the kill.

'खेल' समाप्त हुआ, अब संहार का समय है। हनुमान जी ने पहले 'घोरं निनदं' (भयंकर गर्जना) की। यह मनोवैज्ञानिक युद्ध (Psychological warfare) है, जिसका उद्देश्य शत्रु सेना ('महाचमूम्') में आतंक ('त्रासयन्') फैलाना है। इसके बाद उन्होंने अपनी दिशा बदली और रक्षात्मक से आक्रामक होते हुए 'वेगं चकार' (वेग किया/आक्रमण किया)। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की रणनीति के अगले चरण—प्रत्यक्ष और घातक हमले—का आरंभ है। वे अब आकाश से साक्षात मृत्यु बनकर उन सात मंत्रियों के पुत्रों पर टूट पड़े।
