वाली च सहसुग्रीवो जाम्बवांश्च महाबलः ।
नीलः सेनापतिश्चैव ये चान्ये द्विविदादयः ।

Vālī ca sahasugrīvo jāmbavāṃśca mahābalaḥ । Nīlaḥ senāpatiścaiva ye cānye dvividādayaḥ । । ॥5-46-10॥
Translation
(I know of) Vali, along with Sugriva, the mighty Jambavan, the commander Nila, and others like Dvivida.

(मैंने) वाली, सुग्रीव, महाबली जाम्बवान, सेनापति नील और द्विविद आदि अन्य वानरों को भी देखा है (या मैं उन्हें जानता हूँ)।
English Commentary
Ravana lists the 'Who's Who' of the Vanara aristocracy to establish a baseline for comparison. He references Vali (who famously defeated Ravana), Sugriva, Jambavan (the elder statesman/bear), Nila, and Dvivida. By naming them, Ravana shows he is not ignorant of the Vanara power structure. He is mentally calibrating the threat. He knows the capabilities of the known champions, implying that if Hanuman were simply like one of them, Ravana would know how to handle it. This list sets the stage for the contrast he is about to draw in the subsequent verse.
