नैवं तेषां गतिर्भीमा न तेजो न पराक्रमः ।
न मतिर्न बलोत्साहौ न रूपपरिकल्पनम् ।

॥५-४६-११॥
Naivaṃ teṣāṃ gatirbhīmā na tejo na parākramaḥ । Na matirna balotsāhau na rūpaparikalpanam । । ॥5-46-11॥
Translation
They do not possess such terrible speed, nor such radiance, nor prowess, nor intellect, nor strength and enthusiasm, nor the capacity to change form (like this one).

उन सबमें (वाली, सुग्रीव आदि में) न तो वैसी भीम (भयानक) गति है, न ऐसा तेज है, न पराक्रम, न बुद्धि, न बल और उत्साह है, और न ही रूप बदलने की वैसी क्षमता है (जैसी इस वानर में है)।
English Commentary
This is a critical assessment where Ravana elevates Hanuman above all known Vanara legends, including Vali. He notes specific differentiators: Gati (velocity/momentum), Tejas (energy/aura), Mati (intellect/strategy), and Rupa-parikalpanam (metamorphic ability). While Vali had raw strength, Ravana notes that Hanuman combines strength with intellect and magical abilities (shape-shifting). The negation na evam (not like this) repeated for each attribute underscores that Hanuman is in a league of his own. It is a terrifying realization for a king to find an enemy who surpasses all known precedents.

यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की विशिष्टता का सबसे बड़ा प्रमाण है, जो स्वयं शत्रु के मुख से निकला है। रावण स्पष्ट करता है कि हनुमान, वाली और सुग्रीव से भी श्रेष्ठ हैं। वह हनुमान के विशिष्ट गुणों को गिनाता है: 'गतिर्भीमा' (भयानक गति), 'तेज', 'मति' (बुद्धि), और विशेष रूप से 'रूपपरिकल्पनम्' (कामधर्षण या रूप बदलने की कला)। रावण ने देखा कि कैसे हनुमान ने सूक्ष्म रूप से सीता से बात की और विराट रूप से लंका जलाई। यह बहुमुखी प्रतिभा अन्य वानरों में रावण ने नहीं देखी थी। रावण यहाँ स्वीकार कर रहा है कि वह एक अभूतपूर्व योद्धा का सामना कर रहा है।
