सनागयक्षगन्धर्वा देवासुरमहर्षयः ।
युष्माभिः सहितैः सर्वैर्मया सह विनिर्जिताः ।
।
॥५-४६-७॥
Sanāgayakṣagandharvā devāsuramaharṣayaḥ । Yuṣmābhiḥ sahitaiḥ sarvairmayā saha vinirjitāḥ । । ॥5-46-7॥
Translation
The Nagas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Devas, Asuras, and great Sages were all conquered by me along with all of you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
नागों, यक्षों, गन्धर्वों, देवताओं, असुरों और महर्षियों को, मैंने आप सब (सेनानायकों) के साथ मिलकर ही जीता है।
English Commentary
In this verse, Ravana employs a classic leadership tactic: appealing to shared history and past glories to boost morale. By explicitly stating that he conquered the celestial hierarchy (Devas, Asuras, Yakshas, etc.) with their help ('along with all of you'), he validates their prowess and loyalty. He is reminding them that they are veteran conquerors of the three worlds, not mere soldiers. This serves to diminish the perceived threat of Hanuman by juxtaposing the monkey against the mighty cosmic forces they have already subjugated. It is an attempt to stabilize the fear that might have crept in after the death of previous warriors.

रावण यहाँ अपने सेनापतियों का मनोबल बढ़ा रहा है और उन्हें उनके अतीत के पराक्रम की याद दिला रहा है। वह स्वीकार करता है कि उसकी दिग्विजय यात्रा में केवल उसका बल नहीं, अपितु उसके इन विश्वसनीय सेनानायकों का भी योगदान था। 'युष्माभिः सहितैः' (तुम्हारे साथ मिलकर) कहकर वह एक साझा गौरव की भावना जगा रहा है। रावण उन्हें यह विश्वास दिलाना चाहता है कि जब उन्होंने मिलकर देवताओं और असुरों जैसी अलौकिक शक्तियों को हरा दिया, तो एक वानर उनके समक्ष क्या है? यह एक कुशल नेतृत्वकर्ता की भांति अपने योद्धाओं को प्रेरित करने का प्रयास है, ताकि वे आत्मविश्वास के साथ युद्धभूमि में उतरें।
