अबालवद्बालदिवाकरप्रभः करोत्ययं कर्म महन्महाबलः ।
न चास्य सर्वाहवकर्मशोभिनः प्रमापणे मे मतिरत्र जायते ।

Abālavadbāladivākaraprabhaḥ karotyayaṃ karma mahanmahābalaḥ. Na cāsya sarvāhavakarmaśobhinaḥ pramāpaṇe me matiratra jāyate. ॥5-47-26॥
Translation
"Resplendent like the newly risen sun, this mighty one performs great feats like a mature warrior, not like a child. My mind does not incline towards killing him, who shines in all acts of war."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"यह महाबली, जो बाल-सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी है, बालक होते हुए भी (अबालवत्) महान कर्म कर रहा है। युद्ध के सभी कार्यों में शोभा पाने वाले इस (कुमार) को मारने का मेरा मन नहीं हो रहा है।"
English Commentary
A profound moment of hesitation driven by admiration. Hanuman sees the 'Rising Sun' in Aksha—potential and brilliance. He notes the paradox: Aksha is a child but fights Abālavat (not like a child). The phrase Pramāpaṇe me matiratra na jāyate (My mind is not inclined to kill him) reveals Hanuman's noble character. He appreciates the aesthetics of Aksha's warfare (Sarvāhavakarmaśobhinaḥ). It is a rare glimpse into the warrior's code where beauty in combat can momentarily suspend the urge to destroy the enemy.

यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की करुणा और नैतिक दुविधा को दर्शाता है। वे अक्ष की तुलना 'बालदिवाकरप्रभः' (बाल सूर्य की प्रभा) से करते हैं। अक्ष बालक है, पर उसका कर्म 'अबालवत्' (वयस्कों जैसा) है। हनुमान जी कहते हैं कि इसे मारने की मेरी बुद्धि/इच्छा नहीं हो रही (न... मतिरत्र जायते)। वे अक्ष के युद्ध-कौशल (सर्वाहवकर्मशोभिनः) पर इतने मुग्ध हैं कि वे उसे एक योद्धा के रूप में जीवित रखना चाहते हैं। यह वाल्मीकि रावण के पक्ष के योद्धाओं के प्रति भी न्याय करते हैं और हनुमान को एक रक्षक के रूप में स्थापित करते हैं, जो व्यर्थ हत्या नहीं करना चाहता।
