तमेवमर्थं प्रसमीक्ष्य सम्यक् स्वकर्मसाम्याद्धि समाहितात्मा ।
स्मरंश्च दिव्यं धनुषो ऽस्त्रवीर्यं व्रजाक्षतं कर्म समारभस्व ।

tamevamarthaṃ prasamīkṣya samyak svakarmasāmyāddhi samāhitātmā |
smaraṃśca divyaṃ dhanuṣo 'stravīryaṃ vrajākṣataṃ karma samārabhasva ॥5-48-13॥
Translation
Having properly analyzed this matter, with a focused mind, relying on the capability of your own past deeds, and remembering the divine power of your bow and astras, go and undertake this task without being wounded.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस तथ्य (हनुमान की अजेयता) को भली-भांति विचारकर, एकाग्रचित्त होकर, अपने कार्यों (सफलताओं) को ध्यान में रखते हुए और धनुष तथा दिव्यास्त्रों के प्रभाव का स्मरण करते हुए जाओ और स्वयं घायल हुए बिना (अक्षत) कार्य आरंभ करो।
English Commentary
In this concluding instruction, Ravana synthesizes his advice. He urges Indrajit to internalize the fact that Hanuman is no ordinary foe. The key commands are to be 'samahitatma' (composed/focused) and to rely on 'divyam astraviryam' (divine weapon power). This confirms that the solution lies in the supernatural boons Indrajit possesses. Crucially, Ravana adds the condition 'vraja akshatam'—"go, but remain uninjured." This reveals Ravana's vulnerability; despite his bravado, he is terrified of losing his heir. He commands Indrajit to achieve victory, but not at the cost of his own safety. This sets the stage for Indrajit's use of the Brahmastra later in the battle.

अंतिम निर्देश में रावण सफलता का मंत्र दे रहा है। 'समाहितात्मा' (एकाग्र मन) और 'दिव्यं अस्त्रवीर्यं' (दिव्य अस्त्रों की शक्ति) का स्मरण—यही हनुमान को हराने का उपाय है। रावण स्पष्ट करता है कि केवल दिव्यास्त्र ही काम आएंगे। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश है 'व्रज अक्षतं'—अर्थात् "जाओ, लेकिन अक्षत (बिना घायल हुए) रहना।" रावण एक और पुत्र नहीं खोना चाहता। यह एक पिता की चिंता है जो राजा की आज्ञा में छिपी है। वह चाहता है कि इंद्रजीत सुरक्षित रहे और अपनी दैवीय शक्तियों का प्रयोग करके हनुमान को बंदी बनाए या मारे।
