स रथी धन्विनीं श्रेष्ठः शस्त्रज्ञो ऽस्त्रविदां वरः ।
रथेनाभिययौ क्षिप्रं हनूमान् यत्र सो ऽभवत् ।

sa rathī dhanvinīṃ śreṣṭhaḥ śastrajño 'stravidāṃ varaḥ |
rathenābhiyayau kṣipraṃ hanūmān yatra so 'bhavat ॥5-48-20॥
Translation
That best among chariot-warriors, supreme among archers, expert in weapons, and foremost among knowers of astras, proceeded quickly by chariot to where Hanuman was.

रथियों में श्रेष्ठ, धनुर्धारियों में उत्तम, शस्त्रों के ज्ञाता और अस्त्रवेत्ताओं में वरणीय (इंद्रजीत) उस रथ के द्वारा शीघ्रता से वहाँ पहुँचा जहाँ हनुमान थे।
English Commentary
The narrative builds tension by listing Indrajit's martial qualifications right before the encounter. He is the master of all forms of combat: chariot warfare, archery, conventional weapons (shastra), and divine missiles (astra). This accumulation of titles serves to elevate the stakes. He is the "Boss Fight" of this section. He moves 'kshipram' (swiftly) towards Hanuman, indicating purpose and aggression. The focus is on the inevitable collision between the best warrior of the Rakshasas and the best warrior of the Vanaras.
