शराणआमग्रतस्तस्य पुनः समभिवर्तत ।
प्रसार्य हस्तौ हनुमानुत्पपातानिलात्मजः ।

śarāṇāmagratastasya punaḥ samabhivartata |
prasārya hastau hanumānutpapātānilātmajaḥ ॥5-48-32॥
Translation
Hanuman, the son of the Wind, appeared again right in front of those arrows, and spreading his arms, he leaped up.

वायुपुत्र हनुमान बाणों के ठीक सामने फिर से आ डटे, और अपनी दोनों भुजाओं को फैलाकर (उन्हें चुनौती देते हुए) ऊपर की ओर उछल गए।
English Commentary
Hanuman creates a taunting rhythm in the fight. He deliberately positions himself 'agratah' (in front of) the arrows, making himself a clear target, only to leap away instantly. Spreading his arms ('prasarya hastau') can be interpreted as a gesture of fearlessness or mocking challenge. He is playing with Indrajit. By constantly appearing and disappearing, the 'Anilatmaja' (Son of Wind) proves that he controls the pace of the battle, not the archer. It is a psychological dominance display.

यह हनुमान का साहस और आत्मविश्वास है। वे बाणों से केवल भाग नहीं रहे, बल्कि 'शराणामग्रतः' (बाणों के आगे) आकर खड़े हो जाते हैं। हाथ फैलाना ('प्रसार्य हस्तौ') एक प्रकार की चुनौती है—"यहाँ हूँ मैं, मार सको तो मारो।" और अगले ही क्षण वे फिर आकाश में लुप्त हो जाते हैं। यह 'लुका-छिपी' का खेल इंद्रजीत को भ्रमित करने के लिए है। वायुपुत्र होने के नाते, वे हवा की तरह पकड़ में न आने वाले हैं। यह इंद्रजीत के अहंकार पर सीधा प्रहार है।
