अथेन्द्रजित्तं प्रसमीक्ष्य मुक्तमस्त्रेण बद्धं द्रुमचीरसूत्रैः ।
व्यदर्शयत्तत्र महाबलं हरिप्रवीरं सगणाय राज्ञे ।

athendrajittaṃ prasamīkṣya muktamastreṇa baddhaṃ drumacīrasūtraiḥ । vyadarśayattatra mahābalaṃ haripravīraṃ sagaṇāya rājñe । । ॥5-48-54॥
Translation
Thereafter, Indrajit, observing that he was free from the Astra and bound only by bark and ropes, presented that mighty hero of the monkeys to the King surrounded by his retinue.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तत्पश्चात् इंद्रजीत ने यह देखकर कि हनुमान ब्रह्मास्त्र से मुक्त हैं और केवल पेड़ों की छाल व रस्सियों से बंधे हैं, उस महाबली वानरवीर को अपने गणों (मंत्रियों) सहित राजा रावण को दिखाया (उपस्थित किया)।
English Commentary
Indrajit is in a precarious position here. He knows the captive is technically "free" from the divine hold, yet he presents him to the King. He likely took this risk because Hanuman appeared compliant and made no attempt to escape. The phrase "sagaṇāya rājñe" indicates that Ravana was not alone but surrounded by his court and ministers. This was precisely the opportunity Hanuman was waiting for—to engage with Ravana in the presence of his entire assembly.

इंद्रजीत की स्थिति यहाँ विचित्र है। वह जानता है कि बंदी तकनीकी रूप से 'मुक्त' है, फिर भी वह उसे राजा के सामने प्रस्तुत करता है। उसने संभवतः यह जोखिम इसलिए उठाया क्योंकि हनुमान जी शांत थे और भागने का प्रयास नहीं कर रहे थे। 'सगणाय राज्ञे' का अर्थ है कि रावण एकांत में नहीं, बल्कि अपने दरबार में मंत्रियों और सभासदों के साथ बैठा था। यह वही अवसर था जिसकी प्रतीक्षा हनुमान जी कर रहे थे—पूरी सभा के सामने रावण से संवाद करना।
