प्राप्तं धर्मफलं तावद्भवता नात्र संशयः ।
फलमस्याप्यधर्मस्य क्षिप्रमेव प्रपत्स्यसे ।

prāptaṃ dharmaphalaṃ tāvadbhavatā nātra saṃśayaḥ । phalamasyāpyadharmasya kṣiprameva prapatsyase । । 5.51.29।। ॥5-51-29॥
Translation
You have already obtained the fruit of your righteousness (till now), there is no doubt about it. Now, you shall very soon obtain the fruit of this unrighteousness as well.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं कि आप अपने (पूर्व) धर्म का फल (राज्य, शक्ति, ऐश्वर्य) पा चुके हैं। अब आप इस (सीता-हरण रूपी) अधर्म का फल भी शीघ्र ही प्राप्त करेंगे।
English Commentary
Hanuman applies the Karmic theory directly to Ravana's timeline. The glory Ravana currently enjoys is the paycheck for his past penance—that transaction is complete (prāptaṃ). What remains pending is the payout for his recent crimes. Hanuman uses the word kṣiprameva (very quickly/soon) to indicate that the latency period between cause and effect is over. It is a chilling prediction of the turning of the tide: the era of rewards is ending, and the era of punishment is beginning.

हनुमान अब सिद्धांत को रावण की स्थिति पर लागू करते हैं। रावण जो आज लंका का राजा है और त्रिलोक विजेता है, वह उसके पिछले तप (धर्म) का फल था। वह 'खाता' अब पूरा हो चुका ('प्राप्तं')। अब बारी अधर्म के फल की है। 'क्षिप्रमेव' (शीघ्र ही) शब्द का प्रयोग आसन्न संकट (Imminent danger) को दर्शाता है। हनुमान कह रहे हैं कि 'गुड टाइम्स' (Good times) खत्म हो गए हैं, और अब 'बैड टाइम्स' (Bad times) शुरू होने वाले हैं क्योंकि कर्म का चक्र घूम चुका है।
