लक्ष्मणेन सह भ्रात्रा सीतया चापि भार्यया ।
रामो नाम महातेजा धर्म्यं पन्थानमाश्रितः ।

Lakṣmaṇena saha bhrātrā sītayā cāpi bhāryayā । Rāmo nāma mahātejā dharmyaṃ panthānamāśritaḥ । ॥5-51-6॥
Translation
"Along with his brother Lakshmana and also his wife Sita, he, the highly radiant one named Rama, followed the path of righteousness."

"अपने भाई लक्ष्मण और अपनी पत्नी सीता के साथ, वे महातेजस्वी 'राम' धर्म के मार्ग का आश्रय लेकर (वन में विचर रहे थे)।"
English Commentary
Hanuman formally names 'Rama' and his companions, Lakshmana and Sita. The phrase 'Dharmyaṃ panthānamāśritaḥ' (taking refuge in the path of Dharma) is pivotal. It asserts that Rama's presence in the forest was peaceful and ascetic, strictly adhering to the code of righteousness. This implies that any conflict that arose (like the killing of Khara and Dushana) was a reaction to Adharma, not an act of aggression by Rama. It paints Rama as the upholder of moral law.

हनुमान जी पहली बार स्पष्ट रूप से 'राम' का नाम लेते हैं। वे बताते हैं कि राम अकेले नहीं हैं, उनके साथ लक्ष्मण और सीता भी हैं। 'धर्म्यं पन्थानमाश्रितः' बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। इसका अर्थ है कि राम वन में ऋषियों की तरह धर्म का पालन कर रहे थे, उन्होंने किसी को अकारण नहीं सताया। यह रावण के अधर्म (सीता हरण) के विपरीत राम के धर्मपरायण चरित्र को रेखांकित करता है। हनुमान जी यह जताना चाहते हैं कि राम का जीवन धर्म के लिए समर्पित है।
