अवश्यमेव द्रष्टव्या मया लङ्का निशाक्षये ।

Avaśyameva draṣṭavyā mayā laṅkā niśākṣaye 。 ॥5-53-15॥
Translation
Therefore, as the night comes to an end, Lanka must inevitably be observed by me.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(अतः) रात्रि के बीतने पर (या इस समय जब रात समाप्त हो रही है), मेरे द्वारा लंका अवश्य देखी जानी चाहिए।
English Commentary
This is a continuation of the resolve expressed in the previous verse. 'Niśākṣaye' refers to the end of the night or the break of dawn. The emphatic 'avaśyameva' (must inevitably) underlines his determination. He knows that the monkey army and Lord Rama will eventually besiege this city; therefore, precise intelligence regarding the gates, ramparts, and main thoroughfares is critical. It is a masterstroke of irony and strategy that he intends to use the enemy's procession—intended to shame him—as a guided tour to inspect their defenses. He effectively uses his burning tail as a torch to illuminate the targets he plans to destroy.

यह पिछले श्लोक का ही विस्तार है। 'निशाक्षये' का अर्थ है रात के अंत में या भोर के समय। हनुमान जी का दृढ़ निश्चय (अवश्यमेव) यहाँ झलकता है। उन्हें पता है कि भविष्य में वानर सेना और श्री राम को यहाँ आक्रमण करना है, इसलिए नगर के मुख्य मार्गों, द्वारों और प्राचीरों का सटीक ज्ञान होना अनिवार्य है। शत्रु की हिरासत में होकर, शत्रु के ही द्वारा नगर भ्रमण कराया जाना—यह हनुमान जी की कूटनीतिक विजय है। वे अपनी जलती हुई पूँछ को मशाल की तरह उपयोग कर रहे हैं ताकि लंका के कोने-कोने को देख सकें।
