मङ्गलाभिमुखी तस्य सा तदा ऽ ऽसीन्महाकपेः ।
उपतस्थे विशालाक्षी प्रयता हव्यवाहनम् ।

Maṅgalābhimukhī tasya sā tadā ' 'sīnmahākapeḥ । Upatasthe viśālākṣī prayatā havyavāhanam । । ॥5-53-27॥
Translation
Then, intent on the welfare of that great monkey, the large-eyed Sita, with a focused and pure mind, worshiped the Bearer of Oblations (Fire God).
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उस महाकपि के मंगल (कल्याण) की कामना करती हुई, विशाल नेत्रों वाली सीता ने एकाग्रचित्त (पवित्र) होकर हव्यवाहन (अग्नि देव) की उपासना की।
English Commentary
Putting aside her own suffering, Sita focused entirely on the 'mangala' (welfare) of Hanuman. The word 'prayatā' signifies a state of mental purity, restraint, and intense focus. This is a prime example of selfless prayer. Described as 'viśālākṣī' (large-eyed), reflecting her deep compassion, she worshipped Agni as 'Havyavahana' (the carrier of oblations). Lacking physical materials for worship, she performed a mental sacrifice (manasa puja), invoking the cosmic forces through the sheer strength of her chastity and spiritual discipline to protect her protector.

सीता जी ने अपनी व्यक्तिगत पीड़ा को किनारे रखकर हनुमान जी के 'मंगल' (कल्याण) पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया। 'प्रयता' शब्द का अर्थ है पवित्र, संयमित और एकाग्र मन से। यह भारतीय संस्कृति में 'परार्थ प्रार्थना' (दूसरों के लिए प्रार्थना) का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। सीता जी 'विशालाक्षी' हैं, जिनके नेत्रों में दया और करुणा है। उन्होंने अग्नि देव को 'हव्यवाहन' के रूप में पूजा, जो देवताओं तक हवि (प्रार्थना) पहुँचाते हैं। उन्होंने भौतिक रूप से अग्नि नहीं जलाई, बल्कि अपनी मानसिक शक्ति और तपोबल से अग्नि का आह्वान किया।
