यदि मां वृत्तसम्पन्नां तत्समागमलालसाम् ।
स विजानाति धर्मात्मा शीतो भव हनूमतः ।

Yadi māṃ vṛttasampannāṃ tatsamāgamalālasām । Sa vijānāti dharmātmā śīto bhava hanūmataḥ । । ॥5-53-30॥
Translation
"If that righteous soul (Rama) knows me to be virtuous and longing for a reunion with him, then become cool for Hanuman."

"यदि वे धर्मात्मा (राम) मुझे चरित्रवान (वृत्तसम्पन्न) और उनसे मिलने के लिए लालायित जानते हैं, तो तुम हनुमान के लिए शीतल हो जाओ।"
English Commentary
Sita invokes Rama's knowledge of her inner state. 'Vṛttasampannāṃ' refers to moral perfection. She asserts that if the righteous Rama ('Dharmatma') truly acknowledges her virtue and her intense longing for reunion ('samāgamalālasām'), then the fire must lose its heat. This is a challenge to the cosmic order: if she is true and Rama is aware of it, nature cannot harm her agent. It emphasizes that Hanuman's safety is the litmus test for the authenticity of her devotion and character in the eyes of her husband.

यहाँ सीता जी राम के 'सर्वज्ञ' रूप और उनके 'न्याय' को साक्षी बनाती हैं। 'वृत्तसम्पन्नां' का अर्थ है जिसका चरित्र उत्तम हो। सीता जी कहती हैं कि राम को मेरे चरित्र और मेरे विरह ('समागमलालसाम्' - मिलन की तीव्र इच्छा) का ज्ञान है। यदि मेरा प्रेम और चरित्र सच्चा है, और राम इसे जानते हैं, तो अग्नि मेरा अहित नहीं कर सकती (क्योंकि हनुमान मेरे पुत्र समान हैं)। यह प्रेमी और प्रेमिका के बीच के उस आध्यात्मिक संबंध की बात है जहाँ शब्दों की आवश्यकता नहीं होती, केवल सत्य की उपस्थिति ही पर्याप्त है।
