यदि तावत् समुद्रस्य मैनाकस्य च धीमतः ।
रामार्थं सम्भ्रमस्तादृक् किमग्निर्न करिष्यति ।
।
॥५-५३-३७॥
Yadi tāvat samudrasya mainākasya ca dhīmataḥ । Rāmārthaṃ sambhramastādṛk kimagnirna kariṣyati । । ॥5-53-37॥
Translation
If the Ocean and the wise Mainaka could have such zeal for Rama's sake, what [good] will Agni [Fire] not do?
हिंदी अनुवाद
यदि राम-कार्य के लिए समुद्र और बुद्धिमान मैनाक में ऐसा उत्साह (और आदर) हो सकता है, तो भला अग्निदेव (राम का हित) क्यों नहीं करेंगे?
English Commentary
Hanuman employs logical deduction here. He reflects that if the Ocean and Mainaka showed such 'sambhrama' (zeal/respectful haste) for 'Rāmārthaṃ' (Rama's purpose), then surely Agni (Fire), a primary deity, would not lag behind in assisting a righteous cause. It implies a hierarchy of expectation: if lesser or denser elements served the Lord, the pure and luminous element of Fire will definitely contribute. This reinforces the idea that the entire cosmos aligns itself to support the mission of the avatar.

यहाँ हनुमान जी 'कैमुतिक न्याय' (तर्क) का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। वे सोचते हैं कि मैनाक और समुद्र तो केवल राम के पूर्वज (सगर) के ऋणी थे या मित्र भाव में थे, फिर भी उन्होंने इतनी तत्परता (सम्भ्रम) दिखाई। अग्निदेव तो साक्षात धर्म के साक्षी हैं और देवताओं में प्रमुख हैं, वे राम के कार्य में बाधा कैसे बन सकते हैं? 'किमग्निर्न करिष्यति' का अर्थ है कि अग्नि अवश्य ही सहायता करेंगे। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी के सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण और सृष्टि के तत्वों के साथ उनके सहयोगात्मक संबंध को दर्शाता है।
