श्वसनेन च संयोगादतिवेगो महाबलः ।
कालाग्निरिव जज्वाल प्रावर्धत हुताशनः ।
।
॥५-५४-२१॥
Śvasanena ca saṃyogā dativego mahābalaḥ । Kālāgniriva jajvāla prāvardhata hutāśanaḥ । । ॥5-54-21॥
Translation
Combined with the wind, the extremely powerful fire grew in speed and blazed like the fire of universal dissolution (Kala-agni), increasing in intensity.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वायु (हवा) के संयोग से वह महाबलशाली अग्नि अत्यंत वेगवान होकर प्रलयकाल की अग्नि (कालाग्नि) के समान जलने लगी और बढ़ने लगी।
English Commentary
This verse illustrates the synergy between the elements. The wind (śvasana), associated with Hanuman’s lineage (he is Vayu-putra), fuels the fire (hutāśana). The fire is described as mahābalaḥ (of great strength), personifying it as a living entity. The comparison to Kālāgni reiterates the apocalyptic nature of the event. It suggests that once the forces of retribution are unleashed (fire) and supported by divine will (wind), the destruction of evil becomes unstoppable and all-consuming.
हिंदी टीका
यहाँ वायुदेव और अग्निदेव की युति (सहयोग) का वर्णन है। हनुमान वायुपुत्र हैं, इसलिए वायु (हवा) मानो अपने पुत्र की सहायता के लिए चल पड़ी है। हवा के संपर्क से आग 'कालाग्नि' (प्रलयंकारी अग्नि) बन गई है। प्रकृति भी इस धर्मयुद्ध में हनुमान जी का साथ दे रही है। 'प्रावर्धत' (बढ़ने लगी) शब्द बताता है कि आग अब नियंत्रण से बाहर हो चुकी है और उसने विकराल रूप धारण कर लिया है।
