वज्रविद्रुमवैदूर्यमुकारजतसंहितान् ।
विचित्रान् भवनान् धातून् स्यान्दमानान् ददर्श सः ।

॥५-५४-२८॥
Vajravidrumavaidūryamuktārajatasaṃhitān । Vicitrān bhavanān dhātūn syāndamānān dadarśa saḥ । । ॥5-54-28॥
Translation
He (Hanuman) saw molten metals mixed with diamonds, corals, lapis lazuli, pearls, and silver flowing down from those wonderful mansions.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन्होंने (हनुमान जी ने) देखा कि उन विचित्र भवनों से हीरे, मूंगे, वैदूर्य, मोती, चाँदी और (सोने आदि) धातु पिघलकर बह रहे हैं।
English Commentary
The intensity of the fire is such that it melts precious stones and metals. The imagery of liquefied wealth—diamonds, coral, silver, gold—flowing (syāndamānān) out of the buildings creates a surreal picture of destruction. It signifies the literal dissolution of Lanka's economy. The wealth that was hoarded within the walls is now flowing uncontrollably into the streets, symbolizing the total loss of control and the futility of material accumulation in the face of divine wrath.
हिंदी टीका
अग्नि का ताप इतना अधिक है कि केवल लकड़ी ही नहीं, बल्कि पत्थर और धातु भी पिघल गए हैं। 'स्यान्दमानान्' (बहते हुए) शब्द लंका की उस स्थिति का वर्णन करता है जहाँ ठोस धन (सोना, चांदी, रत्न) तरल बनकर पानी की तरह बह रहा है। यह दृश्य दर्शाता है कि हनुमान जी का क्रोध कितना प्रचंड है। लंका का गर्व उसका स्वर्ण था, और अब वही स्वर्ण पिघलकर सड़कों पर बह रहा है, जो रावण की सत्ता के पिघलने का प्रतीक है।
