ततस्तु तं वानरवीरमुख्यं महाबलं मारुततुल्यवेगम् ।
महामतिं वायुसुतं वरिष्ठं प्रतुष्टुवुर्देवगणाश्च सर्वे ।
॥५-५४-४७॥
Tatastu taṃ vānaravīramukhyaṃ mahābalaṃ mārutatulyavegam । Mahāmatiṃ vāyusutaṃ variṣṭhaṃ pratuṣṭuvurdevagaṇāśca sarve । ॥5-54-47॥
Translation
Then, all the hosts of gods praised that chief of monkey heroes, who was of great strength, swift as the wind, of great intelligence, the son of the Wind-god, and the most excellent one.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनंतर, समस्त देवतागण उन वानर-वीर-शिरोमणि, महाबली, वायु के समान वेग वाले, महाबुद्धिमान, सर्वोच्च वायुपुत्र हनुमान की स्तुति करने लगे।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes with celestial validation. The gods (Devaganas), witnessing the feat, offer praises to Hanuman. He is celebrated for his strength (mahabala), speed (marutatulyavega), and intellect (mahamati). This praise confirms that his actions were righteous and in alignment with the divine will. It marks the successful completion of his solo campaign in Lanka, setting the stage for his return leap across the ocean.

सर्ग का समापन देवताओं द्वारा हनुमान जी की स्तुति के साथ होता है। देवता, जो रावण के अत्याचारों से पीड़ित थे, हनुमान जी के इस कृत्य से अत्यंत प्रसन्न हुए। यहाँ हनुमान जी के विशेषण—महाबल, मारुततुल्यवेग, महामति—उनके शारीरिक, मानसिक और आध्यात्मिक गुणों का समेकन हैं। लंका दहन केवल एक युद्ध की घटना नहीं, बल्कि धर्म की अधर्म पर विजय का शंखनाद था, जिसका अभिनंदन स्वर्ग से भी हुआ।
