ततो ऽन्यत् पुप्लुवे वेश्म महापार्श्वस्य वीर्यवान् ।
मुमोच हनुमानग्निं कालानलशिखोपमम् ।
।
॥५-५४-९॥
Tato 'nyat pupluve veśma mahāpārśvasya vīryavān । Mumoca hanumānagniṃ kālānalaśikhopamam । । ॥5-54-9॥
Translation
Then the mighty Hanuman leaped to another house, belonging to Mahaparshva, and released fire that resembled the flames of the fire of universal dissolution (Time-Fire).

तदनन्तर पराक्रमी हनुमान जी महापार्श्व के दूसरे घर पर कूदे और वहाँ उन्होंने प्रलयकाल की अग्नि की शिखा के समान आग छोड़ दी।
English Commentary
Continuing his surgical strikes on the Rakshasa hierarchy, Hanuman targets Mahaparshva, another key general. The fire he unleashes is compared to Kālānala (the fire of Time/Death at the end of the world). This metaphor suggests an unstoppable, all-consuming force. By calling him vīryavān (mighty/valorous) while engaging in arson, the poet emphasizes that this destruction is an act of valorous war, dismantling the enemy's sanctuary with the ferocity of cosmic dissolution.

प्रहस्त के बाद हनुमान जी महापार्श्व (एक अन्य प्रमुख राक्षस सेनापति) के घर को निशाना बनाते हैं। यहाँ अग्नि की तुलना 'कालानल' (प्रलयंकारी अग्नि) से की गई है। यह उपमा बताती है कि हनुमान जी द्वारा लगाई गई आग सामान्य नहीं है; यह राक्षसों के लिए मृत्यु और विनाश का साक्षात रूप है। 'मुमोच' (छोड़ दी) शब्द दर्शाता है कि वे केवल स्पर्श नहीं कर रहे, बल्कि अग्नि को वहां स्थापित कर रहे हैं ताकि वह पूरी तरह फैल जाए।
