इति चिन्तयस्तस्य निमित्तान्युपपेदिरे ।
पूर्वमप्युपलब्धानि साक्षात्पुनरचिन्तयत् ।

iti cintayastasya nimittānyupapedire |
pūrvamapyupalabdhāni sākṣātpunaracintayat ॥5-55-22॥
Translation
While reflecting thus, omens appeared to him. Seeing directly those signs which had been experienced even before, he began to think again.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार चिंता करते हुए उन्हें (शुभ) शकुन दिखाई देने लगे। उन शकुनों को, जो पहले भी (समुद्र लांघते समय/लंका प्रवेश के समय) अनुभव किए गए थे, प्रत्यक्ष देखकर वे पुनः विचार करने लगे।
English Commentary
This verse marks the pivotal shift from despair to hope. 'Nimittāni' (omens) serve as divine signals intervening when human logic collapses under anxiety. Hanuman recognizes these auspicious signs as the same ones he experienced during previous successes (like crossing the ocean). This recognition triggers a shift in his mindset (punaracintayat - he thought again). It suggests that the universe or the divine will actively communicates with the devotee to reassure them when they are on the path of Dharma but clouded by temporary doubt.

यहाँ से कथा का प्रवाह 'विषाद' से 'आशा' की ओर मुड़ता है। 'निमित्तानि' (शकुन) का प्रकट होना वाल्मीकि रामायण में अक्सर दैवीय हस्तक्षेप या भविष्य के संकेत के रूप में आता है। हनुमान जी का मन तर्क से शांत नहीं हो रहा था, इसलिए प्रकृति ने उन्हें संकेत दिया। उन्होंने स्मरण किया कि ऐसे ही शुभ शकुन उन्हें तब हुए थे जब वे असम्भव कार्यों को सिद्ध करने निकले थे। यह श्लोक बताता है कि जब भक्त हताश होता है, तो 'प्रकृति' या 'दैवीय सत्ता' उसे सही दिशा दिखाने के लिए संकेत भेजती है।
