पुनश्चाचिन्तयत्तत्र हनुमान् विस्मितस्तदा ।
हिरण्यनाभस्य गिरेर्जलमध्ये प्रदर्शनम् ।

punaścācintayattatra hanumān vismitastadā |
hiraṇyanābhasya girerjalamadhye pradarśanam ॥5-55-28॥
Translation
Then, struck with wonder, Hanuman reflected again there, recalling the appearance of Mount Hiranyanabha (Mainaka) in the midst of the waters.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब विस्मित होकर हनुमान जी ने पुनः वहाँ विचार किया और समुद्र के मध्य में 'हिरण्यनाभ' (मैनाक) पर्वत के प्रकट होने की घटना को याद किया।
English Commentary
Hanuman connects the dots between various supernatural events. He recalls the Golden-peaked Mainaka mountain rising from the ocean to offer him rest. Just as the Ocean and the Mountain broke natural laws to assist Rama's messenger, the Fire is now doing the same. This reflection confirms to him that cosmic forces are aligned with his mission. The recurrence of miraculous assistance removes his doubt, replacing it with 'vismaya' (wonder/amazement) at the divine orchestration of events.

हनुमान जी घटनाओं की कड़ियाँ जोड़ रहे हैं। जब वे समुद्र लांघ रहे थे, तब जल के भीतर से मैनाक पर्वत (हिरण्यनाभ) उनकी सहायता के लिए ऊपर आया था। यह प्रकृति (जल और पृथ्वी) का राम-काज में सहयोग था। अब अग्नि भी सहयोग कर रही है। पंचतत्व (जल, पृथ्वी, वायु, अग्नि, आकाश) राम के कार्य में सहायक बन रहे हैं। 'विस्मित' (हैरान) होना स्वाभाविक है क्योंकि वे देख रहे हैं कि पूरी सृष्टि सीता जी की रक्षा और राम के कार्य के लिए तत्पर है।
