तपसा सत्यवाक्येन अनन्यत्वाच्च भर्तरि ।
अपि सा निर्दहेदग्निं न तामग्निः प्रधक्ष्यति ।

Translation
By her penance, truthful speech, and undivided devotion to her husband, she could burn the fire itself; the fire cannot burn her.

अपनी तपस्या, सत्य वाणी और पति में अनन्य भक्ति के कारण, वे (सीता) अग्नि को भी जला सकती हैं, अग्नि उन्हें कभी नहीं जला सकता।
English Commentary
This implies the supremacy of spiritual power over physical elements. Hanuman identifies three sources of Sita's power: Tapas (austerity), Satya (truth), and Ananyatva (undivided fidelity to her husband). He asserts that her spiritual heat is so intense that she has the capacity to "burn the fire itself." This is a profound statement on the power of Pativratya (chastity/loyalty); it suggests that Sita is not a damsel in distress, but a being of immense power who voluntarily endures suffering, and whom nature dare not harm.

यह श्लोक भारतीय नारी की शक्ति का उद्घोष है। हनुमान जी कहते हैं कि सीता जी में तीन शक्तियाँ हैं: तप, सत्य, और अनन्य पातिव्रत्य। इन शक्तियों का 'तेज' भौतिक आग से कहीं अधिक प्रचंड है। 'सा निर्दहेदग्निं' (वह आग को जला सकती हैं) - यह अतिशयोक्ति नहीं, बल्कि आध्यात्मिक सत्य है कि चेतना की शक्ति जड़ पदार्थ (matter) पर हावी होती है। यहाँ हनुमान जी का विश्वास पूर्णता को प्राप्त हो गया है।
