स निमित्तैश्च दृष्टार्थैः कारणैश्च महागुणैः ।
ऋषिवाक्यैश्च हनुमानभवत् प्रीतमानसः ।

sa nimittaiśca dṛṣṭārthaiḥ kāraṇaiśca mahāguṇaiḥ |
ṛṣivākyaiśca hanumānabhavat prītamānasaḥ ॥5-55-34॥
Translation
Then, by the omens whose meaning was evident, by the high-qualitied reasons (Sita's virtue), and by the words of the Sages (Charanas), Hanuman became pleased in mind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब (अपने शरीर पर) प्रत्यक्ष देखे गए शकुनों (पूंछ का न जलना) से, महान गुणकारी कारणों (सीता के तेज) से, और ऋषियों (चारणों) के वचनों से, हनुमान जी प्रसन्न मन वाले हो गए।
English Commentary
Hanuman’s mental state shifts from anxiety to delight (prītamānasaḥ). His conviction is solidly built on three epistemological pillars: direct perception (nimitta - the omen of his unburnt tail), logical inference based on high virtues (kāraṇa - Sita's power), and authoritative testimony (ṛṣivākya - the voice of the Charanas). When internal intuition, logical deduction, and external validation align, doubt is completely eradicated. This marks the successful psychological conclusion of his solo mission in Lanka before he physically departs.

हनुमान जी की मानसिक स्थिति अब 'विषाद' (Despair) से 'प्रीतमानस' (Delighted mind) में परिवर्तित हो गयी है। उनकी प्रसन्नता तीन आधारों पर टिके है: 1. प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव (निमित्त - पूंछ शीतल रहना), 2. तर्क/अनुमान (कारण - सीता का तेज), और 3. शब्द प्रमाण (ऋषिवाक्य - चारणों की गवाही)। ज्ञान प्राप्ति के ये तीनों प्रमाण (Perception, Inference, Testimony) जब एक ही निष्कर्ष देते हैं, तो मन संशय-मुक्त हो जाता है। अब हनुमान जी को विश्वास हो गया है कि उनका प्रयास सफल रहा है।
