बोध्यमानमिव प्रीत्या दिवाकरकरैः शुभैः ।
उन्मिषन्तमिवोद्धूतैर्लोचनैरिव धातुभिः ।
।

Bodhyamānamiva prītyā divākarakaraiḥ śubhaiḥ । Unmiṣantamivoddhūtairlocanairiva dhātubhiḥ । । ॥5-56-11॥
Translation
Being awakened lovingly by the auspicious rays of the sun, the mountain seemed to be opening its eyes, represented by the glistening minerals exposed on its surface.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सूर्य की शुभ किरणों द्वारा प्रेमपूर्वक जगाए जाने पर, वह पर्वत बिखरे हुए धातुओं (गेरू आदि) रूपी नेत्रों से मानो नींद से जागकर आँखें खोल रहा हो, ऐसा प्रतीत होता था।
English Commentary
The imagery continues the personification of the mountain. Just as a sleeper is gently awakened by a loved one, the mountain is roused by the "hand" (rays/kara) of the sun. The sparkling minerals and ores (dhatus) scattered across the slopes catch the morning light and glisten. To the observer, this sudden sparkle looks like the mountain is opening its myriad eyes after a night's sleep. This metaphor highlights the interaction between the solar elements and the terrestrial landscape, creating a vivid scene where the mountain is not dead rock, but a waking giant.

कवि की कल्पना देखिए—जैसे सुबह प्रियजन को स्पर्श करके प्रेम से जगाया जाता है, वैसे ही सूर्य अपनी किरणों से पर्वत को जगा रहा है। पर्वत पर विभिन्न रंगों की धातुएँ (जैसे सोना, चांदी, गेरू) हैं। जब सूर्य की किरणें उन पर पड़ती हैं, तो वे चमक उठती हैं। इस चमक को देखकर ऐसा लगता है जैसे पर्वत ने अपनी आँखें खोल दी हैं। 'उन्मिषन्तम्' शब्द का अर्थ है 'आँखें खोलना' या 'खिलना'। यह श्लोक प्रकृति के दैनिक जागरण को एक मानवीय दिनचर्या के रूप में दर्शाता है, जिससे वातावरण में दिव्यता और चैतन्य का अनुभव होता है।
