तेन पादतलाक्रान्ता रम्येषु गिरिसानुषु ।
सघोषाः समशीर्यन्त शिलाश्चूर्णीकृतास्ततः ।
।
॥५-५६-२२॥
Tena pādatalākrāntā ramyeṣu girisānuṣu । Saghoṣāḥ samaśīryanta śilāścūrṇīkṛtāstataḥ । । ॥5-56-22॥
Translation
Pressed down by the soles of his feet on the beautiful mountain peaks, the rocks were crushed into powder with a loud crashing sound.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन (हनुमान जी) के तलवों के दबाव से आक्रांत होकर, पर्वत के सुंदर शिखरों (सानुओं) पर स्थित चट्टानें भारी गर्जना के साथ टूट-फूट गईं और चूर्ण (पाउडर) बन गईं।
English Commentary
This verse illustrates the sheer physical force generated by Hanuman. To launch his massive form across the ocean, he exerts tremendous downward pressure (Padatala-akranta). The phrase Churnikrita (turned to powder) vividly conveys that the rocks didn't just crack; they were pulverized. It emphasizes that while the mountain was 'beautiful' (ramyeshu), its aesthetic form could not withstand the raw power required for the divine mission.

यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की छलांग से ठीक पहले के क्षण का वर्णन करता है। 'पादतलाक्रान्ता' शब्द दर्शाता है कि انہوں نے उड़ान भरने के लिए अपने पैरों से कितना जबरदस्त धक्का (thrust) दिया। न्यूटन के गति के तीसरे नियम (Action-Reaction) का यह एक पौराणिक उदाहरण है—ऊपर उठने के लिए नीचे की ओर उतना ही भारी दबाव डालना पड़ता है। सुंदर पर्वत चोटियाँ, जो अब तक शांत थीं, हनुमान जी की शक्ति के आगे टिक नहीं सकीं और पत्थर चूर्ण बन गए।
