स्रस्तव्याविद्धवसना व्याकुलीकृतभूषणाः ।
विद्याधर्यः समुत्पेतुः सहसा धरणीधरात् ।
।
॥५-५६-२९॥
Srastavyāviddhavasanā vyākulīkṛtabhūṣaṇāḥ । Vidyādharyaḥ samutpetuḥ sahasā dharaṇīdharāt । । ॥5-56-29॥
Translation
The Vidyadhara women suddenly rose up from the mountain, their garments slipping and entangled, and their ornaments in disarray.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पर्वत पर रहने वाली विद्याधर पत्नियाँ (विद्याधर्यः) अचानक उस पर्वत से ऊपर उड़ गईं। घबराहट में उनके वस्त्र खिसक गए थे और आभूषण अस्त-व्यस्त हो गए थे।
English Commentary
The disruption extends to the supernatural residents. The Vidyadharis, celestial maidens known for their beauty and grace, are forced to flee in panic. The imagery of slipping garments and disheveled jewelry (Vyakulikrita-bhushana) serves two purposes: it highlights the suddenness of the earthquake-like event and contrasts the usual composure of celestial beings with the chaotic reality caused by Hanuman's power.

पर्वत केवल जानवरों का घर नहीं था, वहां गंधर्व और विद्याधर जैसे उप-देवता भी अपनी पत्नियों के साथ विहार कर रहे थे। अचानक हुए इस कंपन से वे घबरा गईं। 'व्याकुलीकृत' शब्द उनकी मानसिक स्थिति और 'स्रस्तव्याविद्ध' उनकी शारीरिक स्थिति (बिखरे कपड़े और गहने) को दर्शाता है। यह सुंदरता और भय (panic) का मिश्रण है। हनुमान जी के कार्य ने स्वर्गिक आनंद में मग्न प्राणियों को भी हिला दिया।
