एवमाश्वास्य वैदेहीं हनुमान् मारुतात्मजः ।
गमनाय मतिं कृत्वा वैदेहीमभ्यावादयत् ।

gamanāya matiṃ kṛtvā vaidehīmabhyavādayat ॥5-56-8॥
Translation
Having thus comforted Vaidehi, Hanuman, the son of the Wind God, made up his mind to depart and bowed to Vaidehi.

इस प्रकार वैदेही (सीता) को आश्वासन देकर, मारुति नंदन हनुमान ने जाने का निश्चय किया और वैदेही को (पुनः) प्रणाम किया।
English Commentary
The dialogue concludes with mutual understanding. Hanuman has comforted Sita, and she has given him the strategic directive. He resolves to leave (gamanāya matiṃ kṛtvā). His final act before turning away is another bow (abhyavādayat) to Vaidehi, acknowledging her as the source of his inspiration and seeking her silent blessings for the perilous return journey across the ocean.

संवाद पूर्ण हुआ। आश्वासन देने के बाद हनुमान जी अब 'कर्म' की ओर बढ़ रहे हैं। 'गमनाय मतिं कृत्वा' - अब लौटने का संकल्प पक्का है। प्रस्थान से ठीक पहले वे पुनः प्रणाम करते हैं ('अभ्यवादयत्'), जो दर्शाता है कि माता सीता का आशीर्वाद ही उनकी वापसी यात्रा का संबल (Fuel) है। यह भक्त और भगवान (शक्ति) के बीच का पवित्र संबंध है।
