तार्क्ष्यायमाणो गगने बभासे वायुनन्दनः ।
दारयन् मेघवृन्दानि निष्पतंश्च पुनः पुनः ।
।
॥५-५७-१०॥
Tārkṣyāyamāṇo gagane babhāse vāyunandanaḥ । Dārayan meghavṛndāni niṣpataṃśca punaḥ punaḥ । । ॥5-57-10॥
Translation
Tearing through the cloud masses and emerging again and again, the son of the Wind shone in the sky, behaving like Garuda (Tarkshya).

आकाश में बादलों के समूहों को चीरते हुए (दारयन्) और बार-बार उनसे बाहर निकलते हुए वायुपुत्र हनुमान गरुड़ के समान (तार्क्ष्यायमाणो) सुशोभित हो रहे थे।
English Commentary
The simile shifts from the gentle Moon to the majestic Tarkshya (Garuda, the King of Birds and Vishnu's mount). While the moon metaphor highlighted beauty, the Garuda metaphor highlights power and speed. He is Darayan—tearing or rending—the clouds apart. This aggressive verb choice shows that he is not just floating; he is piercing the atmosphere with the force and authority of the supreme avian deity.

अब उपमा 'चंद्रमा' से बदल कर 'गरुड़' (तार्क्ष्य) की हो गई है। चंद्रमा सुंदरता का प्रतीक है, तो गरुड़ शक्ति और वेग का। हनुमान जी बादलों को केवल हटा नहीं रहे, बल्कि उन्हें चीरते हुए (दारयन्) निकल रहे हैं, जैसे गरुड़ शिकार पर झपटते समय बादलों को भेदते हैं। 'तार्क्ष्यायमाणो' का अर्थ है 'गरुड़ जैसा व्यवहार करना'। यह उनकी उड़ान की आक्रामकता और अधिकार (dominance) को दर्शाता है।
