स पूरयामास कपिर्दिशो दश समन्ततः ।
नदन्नादेन महता मेघस्वनमहास्वनः ।

Sa pūrayāmāsa kapirdiśo daśa samantataḥ । Nadannādena mahatā meghasvanamahāsvanaḥ । । ॥5-57-16॥
Translation
Roaring with a loud sound like that of a thundercloud, that monkey filled the ten directions completely with his resonance.

मेघ के समान गंभीर ध्वनि वाले उस वानर ने अपनी महान गर्जना से दसों दिशाओं को पूर्ण रूप से भर दिया।
English Commentary
The auditory impact of Hanuman's return is emphasized here. Filling the 'ten directions' implies an all-encompassing sound that could not be ignored. यहाँ हनुमान जी की गर्जना की तीव्रता का वर्णन है। वह इतनी शक्तिशाली थी कि दसों दिशाएं (पूरयामास) भर गईं। उनकी आवाज़ को 'मेघस्वन' (बादलों की गड़गड़ाहट) कहा गया है। जिस प्रकार वर्षा ऋतु में बादलों की गर्जना से पूरा आकाश गूंज उठता है, उसी प्रकार हनुमान जी के विजय घोष ने वातावरण को कम्पित कर दिया। यह ध्वनि उनके भीतर के आत्मविश्वास और उनके द्वारा प्राप्त की गई असाधारण सफलता का प्रमाण है।
