तस्य नानद्यमानस्य सुपर्णचरिते पथि ।
फलतीवास्य घोषेण गगनं सार्कमण्डलम् ।

Tasya nānadyamānasya suparṇacarite pathi । Phalatīvāsya ghoṣeṇa gaganaṃ sārkamaṇḍalam । । ॥5-57-18॥
Translation
As he roared repeatedly in the path of Suparna (Garuda), the sky, along with the solar disc, seemed as if it were cracking/bursting from the noise.

गरुड़ के मार्ग (आकाश) में बार-बार गर्जना करते हुए हनुमान के उस घोष से सूर्यमण्डल सहित पूरा आकाश मानो फटा जा रहा था।
English Commentary
The poet uses hyperbole to convey the sheer magnitude of the sound produced by Hanuman. The sky and the solar disc seeming to 'burst' or 'crack' (Phalativa) implies a sonic intensity that threatened the fabric of the atmosphere. By mentioning the 'path of Garuda,' the verse places Hanuman in the highest echelon of aerial beings. It signifies that his return was not quiet or stealthy; it was an earth-shattering proclamation of success that disturbed the very heavens.

यह श्लोक अतिशयोक्ति अलंकार का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। हनुमान जी की गर्जना इतनी तीव्र थी कि ऐसा प्रतीत हुआ जैसे आकाश और सूर्य का घेरा (सार्कमण्डलम्) फट जाएगा। 'सुपर्णचरिते पथि' (गरुड़ का मार्ग) यह बताता है कि वे अत्यंत ऊंचाई पर उड़ रहे थे। 'फलतीव' (मानो फट रहा हो) शब्द ध्वनि के भौतिक प्रभाव (shockwave) को दर्शाता है। यह दर्शाता है कि उनकी ऊर्जा का स्तर अब सामान्य सीमाओं को पार कर चुका था।
