गिरिगह्वरसंलीनो यथा गर्जति मारुतः ।
एवं जगर्ज बलवान् हनूमान् मारुतात्मजः ।

Girigahvarasaṃlīno yathā garjati mārutaḥ । Evaṃ jagarja balavān hanūmān mārutātmajaḥ । । ॥5-57-28॥
Translation
Just as the wind roars when trapped within a mountain cave, so did the mighty Hanuman, the son of the wind, roar.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जैसे पर्वत की गुफा में फंसी हुई वायु गर्जना करती है, वैसे ही बलवान वायुपुत्र हनुमान ने गर्जना की।
English Commentary
A poetic simile links Hanuman directly to his father, the Wind God (Vayu). The sound is compared to wind resonance in a cave—deep, booming, and encompassing. Unlike a sharp scream, this is a low-frequency rumble that vibrates through the landscape. By referring to him as Marut-atmajah, the poet emphasizes that Hanuman is in his element, channeling the raw power of the wind as he announces his victorious return.

हनुमान जी की गर्जना की तुलना उनके पिता 'वायु' के गुण से की गई है। गुफा में गूंजने वाली हवा की आवाज अत्यंत गंभीर, भारी और गूंजने वाली (resonant) होती है। 'मारुतात्मज' (मरुत के पुत्र) विशेषण का प्रयोग यहाँ सार्थक है, क्योंकि यह ध्वनि उनके वंशानुगत गुणों को दर्शाती है। यह गर्जना केवल गले की आवाज नहीं, बल्कि उनके भीतर की प्राणशक्ति का विस्फोट है।
