अपरे च हनूमन्तं वानरा वारणोपमम् ।
आप्लुत्य गिरिशृङ्गेभ्यः संस्पृशन्ति स्म हर्षिताः ।
।
॥५-५७-४३॥
Apare ca Hanūmantaṃ vānarā vāraṇopamam । Āplutya giriśṛṅgebhyaḥ saṃspṛśanti sma harṣitāḥ । । ॥5-57-43॥
Translation
And other Vanaras jumped down from the mountain peaks to touch Hanuman, who resembled an elephant, in their great joy.

और अन्य वानर, पर्वत के शिखरों से कूदकर, हाथी के समान विशाल हनुमान जी के पास आते और हर्षित होकर उन्हें स्पर्श करते।
English Commentary
Tactile connection is a powerful way to express relief and shared glory. By jumping down to touch Hanuman, the Vanaras are grounding the miraculous feat in reality—verifying that their hero is physically present. Comparing Hanuman to an elephant (vāraṇa) suggests his immense size and composed demeanor amidst the frenetic energy of the others. It signifies that he is the pillar of their success, and touching him allows them to partake in his merit and strength.

नायक को स्पर्श करना श्रद्धा और प्रेम की अभिव्यक्ति है। वानर हनुमान जी को छूकर यह विश्वास करना चाहते हैं कि यह सत्य है और वे सकुशल लौट आए हैं। हनुमान जी की उपमा 'वारण' (हाथी) से दी गई है, जो उनकी स्थिरता और भव्यता को दर्शाती है—वे उत्सव के बीच एक अचल पर्वत की भांति शांत खड़े हैं जबकि अन्य उनके चारों ओर उछल-कूद रहे हैं। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी के प्रति समूह के कृतज्ञता भाव को शारीरिक क्रियाओं के माध्यम से व्यक्त करता है।
