सत्त्वे वीर्ये न ते कश्चित् समो वानर विद्यते ।
यदवप्लुत्य विस्तीर्णं सागरं पुनरागतः ।
।
॥५-५७-४५॥
Sattve vīrye na te kaścit samo vānara vidyate । Yadavaplutya vistīrṇaṃ sāgaraṃ punarāgataḥ । । ॥5-57-45॥
Translation
"O Monkey! There is no one equal to you in strength or valor, for having leaped across the vast ocean, you have returned again."

"हे वानर! बल और पराक्रम में तुम्हारे समान कोई दूसरा नहीं है, क्योंकि तुम इस विशाल समुद्र को लांघकर पुनः वापस आ गए हो।"
English Commentary
Angada highlights the dual nature of Hanuman's superiority: in sattva (inner strength/character) and vīrya (valor/prowess). The defining metric for this praise is the successful round trip—crossing the vast ocean and returning (punarāgataḥ). Many might have attempted the leap, but returning alive after infiltrating the enemy stronghold is the true test. Angada explicitly states that no other Vanara equals Hanuman, thereby cementing Hanuman’s status as the saviour of the mission.

अंगद यहाँ हनुमान जी की अद्वितीय क्षमता को स्वीकार करते हैं। 'सत्त्व' (आंतरिक शक्ति/धैर्य) और 'वीर्य' (शारीरिक पराक्रम) दोनों में हनुमान की तुलना किसी से नहीं की जा सकती। अंगद विशेष रूप से 'पुनरागतः' (वापस आ गए) पर जोर देते हैं। समुद्र को पार करना कठिन था, लेकिन वहाँ कार्य सिद्ध करके जीवित वापस लौटना लगभग असंभव था। यह प्रशंसा एक नेता द्वारा अपने सबसे सक्षम योद्धा को दी गई सर्वोच्च मान्यता है।
