प्रविशन्नभ्रजालानि निष्पतंश्च पुनः पुनः ।
प्रच्छन्नश्च प्रकाशश्च चन्द्रमा इव लक्ष्यते ।

॥५-५७-८॥
Praviśannabhrajālāni niṣpataṃśca punaḥ punaḥ । Pracchannaśca prakāśaśca candramā iva lakṣyate । । ॥5-57-8॥
Translation
Entering the cloud clusters and emerging again and again, now hidden and now visible, he looked like the Moon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
बार-बार बादलों के समूहों में घुसते हुए और उनसे बाहर निकलते हुए, कभी छिपते हुए (प्रच्छन्न) और कभी प्रकट होते हुए (प्रकाश), वे चंद्रमा के समान दिखाई दे रहे थे।
English Commentary
The visual effect of a high-speed flight through clouds is captured here. Just as the moon plays hide-and-seek on a cloudy night, Hanuman disappears into the dense vapor (Pracchanna) and bursts out again (Prakasha). This intermittent visibility reinforces the moon simile, suggesting that despite his raw power, his presence in the sky has a celestial, almost romantic beauty similar to the moon (Chandrama).

यह दृश्य अत्यंत सिनेमाई (cinematic) है। जैसे बादलों वाले आकाश में चाँद कभी ढक जाता है और कभी चमकने लगता है, ठीक वैसे ही हनुमान जी बादलों के बीच लुका-छिपी कर रहे हैं। 'निष्पतंश्च' (तेजी से निकलना) और 'प्रविशन्' (प्रवेश करना) उनकी गतिशीलता को दिखाते हैं। उपमा अलंकार के माध्यम से कवि ने हनुमान जी को चाँद जैसी शीतलता और सुंदरता प्रदान की है, जो उनके भयानक 'राक्षस-हंता' रूप के विपरीत है।
