मां च दृष्ट्वा वने तस्मिन समागम्य ततस्ततः ।
ताः समभ्यागताः क्षिप्रं रावणायाचचक्षिरे ।
।
॥५-५८-११०॥
Māṃ ca dṛṣṭvā vane tasmin samāgamya tatastataḥ । Tāḥ samabhyāgatāḥ kṣipraṃ Rāvaṇāyācacakṣire । । ॥5-58-110॥
Translation
Seeing me in that forest, they gathered from here and there, went quickly to Ravana, and reported the matter.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस वन में मुझे देखकर, वे (राक्षसियाँ) इधर-उधर से इकट्ठी हो गईं और शीघ्रता से जाकर रावण को सूचित किया।
English Commentary
The rakshasis quickly realized this was no ordinary intruder. Their reaction—grouping together and immediately reporting to the king—shows the efficiency of Lanka’s internal security. This was exactly what Hanuman intended; he wanted his presence acknowledged by the highest authority. By standing his ground and letting them see him, he ensured the message delivered to Ravana would be one of a significant threat.
हिंदी टीका
राक्षसियों ने तुरंत समझ लिया कि यह कोई साधारण वानर नहीं है। उन्होंने संगठित होकर (समागम्य) कार्य किया और सीधे उच्च कमान (रावण) को सूचित किया। यह लंका की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की चुस्ती को दर्शाता है। हनुमान जी का उद्देश्य भी यही था—रावण तक अपनी उपस्थिति की खबर पहुँचाना। हनुमान जी वहीँ डटे रहे ताकि राक्षसियाँ उन्हें देख सकें और सही विवरण राजा को दे सकें।
