Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
दुर्बुद्धेस्तस्य राजेन्द्र तव विप्रियकारिणः ।
वधमाज्ञापय क्षिप्रं यथा ऽसौ विलयं व्रजेत् ।
।
॥५-५८-११२॥
Durbuddhestasya rājendra tava vipriyakāriṇaḥ । Vadhamājñāpaya kṣipraṃ yathā 'sau vilayaṃ vrajet । । ॥5-58-112॥
Translation
O King of Kings! Quickly order the killing of that evil-minded one who has done what is displeasing to you, so that he meets his destruction.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राजेन्द्र! आपका अप्रिय करने वाले उस दुर्बुद्धि (वानर) के वध की शीघ्र आज्ञा दीजिये, जिससे कि उसका विनाश हो सके।
English Commentary
The fear amongst the guards was so intense that they requested an immediate death sentence rather than capture. They perceived Hanuman as an existential threat. By phrasing it as "one who has done what is displeasing to you," they aligned the monkey's actions with treason against the king, ensuring Ravana would respond with lethal force rather than mere curiosity.
हिंदी टीका
राक्षसियाँ हनुमान जी से इतनी भयभीत थीं कि वे सीधे मृत्युदंड (वध) की मांग कर रही थीं। उन्हें लगा कि इसे बंदी बनाना कठिन होगा, इसलिए इसका विनाश ही एकमात्र उपाय है। 'तव विप्रियकारिणः' (आपका अप्रिय करने वाला) कहकर वे रावण को यह विश्वास दिला रहीं थीं कि यह वानर व्यक्तिगत रूप से रावण का शत्रु है।
