तच्छ्रुत्वा राक्षसेन्द्रेण विसृष्टा भृशदुर्जयाः ।
राक्षसाः किङ्करा नाम रावणस्य मनोनुगाः ।

Tacchrutvā rākṣasendreṇa visṛṣṭā bhṛśadurjayāḥ । Rākṣasāḥ kiṅkarā nāma Rāvaṇasya manonugāḥ । । ॥5-58-113॥
Translation
Hearing that, the Lord of Rakshasas dispatched the extremely unconquerable Rakshasas named Kinkaras, who followed his will.
हिंदी अनुवाद
यह सुनकर राक्षसों के राजा (रावण) ने 'किंकर' नामक अत्यंत दुर्जय राक्षसों को भेजा, जो रावण के मन के अनुकूल चलने वाले थे।
English Commentary
The 'Kinkaras' were Ravana's elite guard or special task force. Described as bhrishadurjayah (extremely difficult to conquer), they represented the first wave of response. Ravana, likely underestimating the threat or viewing it as a minor nuisance, sent these loyal enforcers (manonugah - followers of his will) rather than his generals. This marks the beginning of the escalation in hostilities.

'किंकर' रावण के विशेष दस्ता (elite forces) के सैनिक थे। 'भृशदुर्जयाः' (जिन्हें जीतना बहुत कठिन हो) विशेषण उनकी शक्ति को दर्शाता है। रावण ने अभी इसे बहुत बड़ी चुनौती नहीं माना, इसलिए उसने सेनापति को न भेजकर अपने निजी अंगरक्षकों/सेवकों को भेजा। यह संघर्ष का पहला चरण था। 'मनोनुगाः' का अर्थ है कि वे रावण के इशारे मात्र से कार्य करने वाले थे।
