बहुभी राक्षसैः सार्धं प्रेषयामास रावणः ।
तं तु मन्दोदरीपुत्रं कुमारं रणपण्डितम् ।

Bahubhī rākṣasaiḥ sārdhaṃ preṣayāmāsa rāvaṇaḥ । Taṃ tu mandodarīputraṃ kumāraṃ raṇapaṇḍitam । । ॥5-58-123॥
Translation
Ravana sent him accompanied by many demons. He was the son of Mandodari, a prince, and a scholar of warfare.

रावण ने उसे बहुत से राक्षसों के साथ भेजा। वह मन्दोदरी का पुत्र था, एक राजकुमार था और युद्धकला में पंडित (विद्वान/निपुण) था।
English Commentary
Hanuman provides specific details about Aksha to highlight the tragedy and magnitude of this specific encounter.
