तत्सर्वं च मया तत्र सीतार्थमिति जल्पितम् ।
।
॥५-५८-१३१॥
Tatsarvaṃ ca mayā tatra sītārthamiti jalpitam । । ॥5-58-131॥
Translation
I declared there that all of this was done for the sake of Sita.

मैंने वहाँ (स्पष्ट रूप से) कह दिया कि यह सब सीता जी के कार्य (खोज) के लिए किया गया है।
English Commentary
Hanuman gets straight to the point. The use of "Jalpitam" implies a frank and bold declaration. He explicitly states that every action he took—from crossing the ocean to slaying the generals—was "Sitartham" (for the sake of Sita). He hides nothing, establishing immediately that his mission is a direct consequence of Ravana's own crime of abduction. This clarity removes any ambiguity about his presence; he is not a random invader but an agent acting on a specific cause.

'जल्पितम्' शब्द का अर्थ यहाँ केवल बोलना नहीं, बल्कि दृढ़ता और स्पष्टता से अपनी बात रखना है। हनुमान जी ने कोई बहाना नहीं बनाया। उन्होंने सीधे तौर पर स्वीकार किया कि उनका लंका आना, अशोक वाटिका में प्रवेश करना, और राक्षसों का वध करना—सब कुछ माता सीता की खोज और राम का कार्य सिद्ध करने के लिए था। यह सत्यवादिता और निर्भयता का प्रतीक है। शत्रु के गढ़ में खड़े होकर शत्रु के विनाश का कारण (सीता हरण) बताना हनुमान के अदम्य साहस को दर्शाता है।
