(Sugriva’s message is to return Sita) before the heroic Vanaras destroy your army.

(सुग्रीव का संदेश है कि सीता को लौटा दो) जब तक कि वीर वानर तुम्हारी सेना का विध्वंस नहीं कर देते।
English Commentary
In this verse, Hanuman is recounting his narrative to the Vanaras after returning from Lanka. He quotes the warning he delivered to Ravana on behalf of Sugriva. This represents the diplomatic ultimatum: return Sita voluntarily before force is applied. By using the phrase "Vidhamanti balam tava" (destroy your army/strength), Hanuman highlights that the Vanara army is a formidable force, not a chaotic group of animals. It shows Hanuman’s fearlessness as an envoy; despite being surrounded by enemies, he delivered the threat of total annihilation without hesitation, fulfilling his duty as a messenger perfectly.

हनुमान जी यहाँ अपनी वापसी के बाद अन्य वानरों को लंका का वृत्तांत सुना रहे हैं। यह श्लोक उस चेतावनी का हिस्सा है जो उन्होंने रावण को सुग्रीव के दूत के रूप में दी थी। यहाँ 'साम, दाम, दंड, भेद' की नीति में से चेतावनी और दंड का भय दिखाया गया है। हनुमान जी स्पष्ट करते हैं कि वानर सेना साधारण नहीं है; वे 'वीर' हैं और पूरी राक्षस सेना का 'विध्वंस' (पूर्ण विनाश) करने में सक्षम हैं। यह रावण के अहंकार को सीधी चुनौती थी। हनुमान जी ने यह संदेश निर्भीकता से सुनाया, यह जानते हुए कि वे शत्रु के दरबार में अकेले खड़े हैं।
