ततस्ते राक्षसाः शूरा बद्धं मामग्निसंवृतम् ।
अघोषयन् राजमार्गे नगरद्वारमागताः ।

Tataste rākṣasāḥ śūrā baddhaṃ māmagnisaṃvṛtam . Aghoṣayan rājamārge nagaradvāramāgatāḥ .. 5.58.152 .. ॥5-58-152॥
Translation
Then those warrior demons, seeing me bound and enveloped in fire, arrived at the city gate and proclaimed (my capture) on the royal highway.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उन (तथाकथित) शूरवीर राक्षसों ने मुझे बंधा हुआ और अग्नि से घिरा हुआ देखकर नगर के द्वार पर आकर राजमार्ग पर (ढिंढोरा पीटते हुए) मेरी घोषणा की (घुमाया)।
English Commentary
The demons paraded Hanuman through the "Rajamarga" (Royal Highway) to the city gates, announcing his capture to the public. They intended to make an example of him. However, Hanuman turned this adversity into an advantage. Being marched through the main streets allowed him to observe the layout of Lanka, its fortifications, and exit points in broad daylight—intelligence that would be crucial for the upcoming war. What was intended as a public shaming became a strategic tour for the Vanara spy.
हिंदी टीका
राक्षस हनुमान जी को एक ट्रॉफी की तरह पूरे शहर में घुमाने ले गए। 'अघोषयन्' का अर्थ है कि उन्होंने घोषणा की—"देखो, यह वही वानर है, इसे पकड़ लिया गया है।" वे हनुमान जी को लज्जित करना चाहते थे, लेकिन हनुमान जी इसी अवसर की प्रतीक्षा में थे। 'राजमार्गे' (मुख्य सड़क) पर जाने से उन्हें लंका के किले, द्वारों और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को दिन के प्रकाश में देखने का मौका मिल गया। जिसे राक्षस अपना विजय जुलूस समझ रहे थे, वह वास्तव में हनुमान जी का 'सर्वेक्षण मिशन' (Reconnaissance mission) था।
