राघवस्य प्रभावेन भवतां चैव तेजसा ।

rāghavasya prabhāvena bhavatāṃ caiva tejasā |
sugrīvasya ca kāryārthaṃ mayā sarvamanuṣṭitam ॥5-58-166॥
Translation
By the power of Rama, by your collective brilliance, and for the sake of Sugriva's mission, I have accomplished all this.

English Commentary
This verse encapsulates the essence of Hanuman's character: absolute humility despite unparalleled achievement. Instead of claiming glory for burning Lanka or finding Sita, he attributes his success to three sources: the spiritual influence of his master Rama, the collective moral support ('tejas') of his fellow Vanaras, and his duty towards King Sugriva. In the Dharmic context, this signifies the erasure of the ego (ahamkara). Hanuman views himself merely as an instrument of a higher will, establishing the ideal attitude of a sevaka (servant) towards his mission.

यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की परम विनम्रता और 'दास्य भक्ति' का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। लंका जलाने और समुद्र लांघने जैसा असंभव कार्य करने के बाद भी वे इसका श्रेय स्वयं नहीं लेते। वे सफलता का कारण 'राघवस्य प्रभावेन' (राम का प्रभाव) और 'भवतां तेजसा' (वानरों का तेज) बताते हैं। यहाँ वे 'टीम वर्क' और अपने स्वामी के प्रति समर्पण को अपनी शक्ति का स्रोत मानते हैं। यह दर्शाता है कि एक सच्चा कर्मयोगी अपनी उपलब्धियों का अहंकार नहीं करता, बल्कि उन्हें अपने स्वामी और सहयोगियों को समर्पित कर देता है।
