तेन चाहमनुज्ञातो मैनाकेन महात्मना ।
स चाप्यन्तर्हितः शैलो मानुषेण वपुष्मता ।
शरीरेण महाशैलः शैलेन च महोदधौ ।

Tena cāhamanujñāto mainākena mahātmanā । Sa cāpyantarhitaḥ śailo mānuṣeṇa vapuṣmatā । Śarīreṇa mahāśailaḥ shailena ca mahodadhau । । ॥5-58-19॥
Translation
Then I was permitted (to depart) by that high-souled Mainaka. He then disappeared in his human form and remained in the great ocean in his mountain form.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब उस महात्मा मैनाक ने मुझे (जाने की) आज्ञा दी। फिर वह पर्वत अपने उस मानवरूप वाले शरीर से अंतर्धान हो गया और अपने पर्वत रूप (शैल शरीर) से समुद्र में स्थित हो गया।
English Commentary
This verse concludes the interaction. Mainaka grants Hanuman permission to proceed (Anujnata), respecting the hero's dedication. The verse describes a supernatural transformation: Mainaka had assumed a human-like form to converse with Hanuman. Once the interaction ended, this anthropomorphic form vanished (Antarhitah), and he reverted to his geological form as a massive mountain resting in the ocean.

मैनाक ने हनुमान जी की निष्ठा देखकर उन्हें रोकने का हठ नहीं किया, बल्कि आशीर्वाद देकर विदा किया। यहाँ मैनाक के रूप परिवर्तन का वर्णन है। वह हनुमान जी से बात करने के लिए मानवरूप ('मानुषेण वपुष्मता') में शिखर पर आया था। बात समाप्त होने पर वह मानवरूप ओझल हो गया और मैनाक पुनः अपने विशाल पर्वत रूप में समुद्र में स्थिर हो गया। यह एक अद्भुत दृश्य था।
