उत्तमं जवमास्थाय शेषं पन्थानमास्थितः ।
ततो ऽहं सुचिरं कालं वेगेनाभ्यगमं पथि ।

Uttamaṃ javamāsthāya śeṣaṃ panthānamāsthitaḥ । Tato 'haṃ suciraṃ kālaṃ vegenābhyagamaṃ pathi । । ॥5-58-20॥
Translation
Adopting supreme speed, I resumed the rest of my journey. Then, for a long time, I traveled along the path with great velocity.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(मैनाक से विदा लेकर) मैंने उत्तम वेग धारण किया और शेष मार्ग पर चल पड़ा। तदनंतर मैं बहुत देर तक मार्ग में तीव्र गति से चलता रहा।
English Commentary
After the interlude with Mainaka, Hanuman kicks into high gear, adopting 'supreme speed' (Uttamam javam). He refocuses on the remaining path (Sesham panthanam). The verse notes that he traveled for a significant time without further incident, bridging the gap between the first obstacle (Mainaka) and the next major challenge. It emphasizes his stamina and the vast distance of the ocean crossing.

मैनाक प्रसंग समाप्त होने के बाद हनुमान जी ने अपनी गति और बढ़ा दी ('उत्तमं जवमास्थाय')। बीच में रुकने से जो समय गया था, शायद उसकी भरपाई वे तीव्र वेग से करना चाहते थे। 'सुचिरं कालं' (काफी देर तक) वे बिना किसी बाधा के उड़ते रहे। यह शांति तूफान (सुरसा प्रसंग) से पहले की शांति है।
