अभिपत्याशु तद्वक्रं निर्गतो ऽहं ततः क्षणात् ।
अब्रवीत् सुरसा देवी स्वेन रूपेण मां पुनः ।

Abhipatyāśu tadvaktraṃ nirgato 'haṃ tataḥ kṣaṇāt । Abravīt surasā devī svena rūpeṇa māṃ punaḥ । । ॥5-58-31॥
Translation
"Flying quickly into that mouth, I exited it in a split second. Then Goddess Surasa, assuming her own (true) form, spoke to me again."
हिंदी अनुवाद
मैं तेजी से उड़कर उसके उस मुख में (गया और) क्षण भर में बाहर निकल आया। तब सुरसा देवी ने अपने वास्तविक (सौम्य) रूप में मुझसे पुनः कहा।
English Commentary
Hanuman technically fulfills the boon: he entered her mouth. However, he exited before she could close it. This loophole—obeying the letter of the law while defeating its intent—demonstrates his supreme wit. Surasa, realizing she has been outsmarted but respected, drops her monstrous guise and reverts to her divine form.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी ने सुरसा की शर्त पूरी कर दी—"मुँह में जाना।" वे गए और उसे निगलने का मौका दिए बिना बाहर आ गए। शर्त भी रह गई और जान भी बच गई। इसे देखकर सुरसा अपना भयानक रूप त्यागकर अपने वास्तविक 'देवी' रूप में आ गईं। यह प्रसंग सिखाता है कि समस्याओं के सामने केवल टकराना ही हल नहीं है, कभी-कभी विनम्रता और चतुराई (flexibility) से भी विजय प्राप्त होती है।
